It seems that every day somebody is thinking up some new way to make life simpler. New gadgets hit the market every day and people buy them like hot cakes. The gadget industry is one of the hottest trends on the market today. My favorite gadgets are often considered to be off the wall for some but others think they are better than sliced bread. Here we will take a look at a few of them.

· The Uniden Waterproof Floating Phone – this phone is fantastic! It is waterproof, submersible, and will even float. This is great for people who spend a lot of time in the pool and don’t want to miss that important call. It comes will all of the usual standard features such as caller id and call waiting. It even works great in the kitchen or when you are giving the children a bath. With this phone you won’t have to leave the kids unattended while you answer the phone.

· The Panasonic PetCam – this is for that animal lover that can’t stand to be away from their animals while they go to work. The PetCam keeps an eye on your pet all day, no matter where you are. It contains a built in motion sensor that keeps track of what your pet is doing all of the time. You can then view your pet’s activity right on your computer screen. Some cell phones have a screen viewer which allow you to watch your pet from your cell phone. More advanced models will even allow you to talk to your pet so that your pet doesn’t think he is spending the day alone.

· The Sonicare UV Toothbrush – this is great for the super health conscience person. Not only will it give you super clean teeth and gums, it will also kill 99 percent of the bacteria which is left on the head of the brush. This is a great idea to help prevent illness since airborne germs can cling to brushes long after you have rinsed it off.

· Microsoft Surface – have you ever wondered what Microsoft is up to now? Well how about a touch-screen coffee table? With simple hand gestures you can manipulate digital content right from your living room coffee table. Look at all of your digital family photos or just leave a message to another family member. These surface tables will soon be found in upper class motels and casinos. Don’t forget to watch for their appearance soon.

These are just a few of the incredible high-tech gadgets out there. There are literally hundreds more. All you have to do is fire up your computer and start searching. You will be amazed at how much technology has advanced over the past few years. Many of these latest gadgets have incredible capabilities to do just about anything you desire.

To date the world has not yet seen a flying car but we have seen robots that can clean house and take orders. It is going to be interesting to what they come up with next.
